Handbags Coming Soon!

So...the handbags have been shipped and should hit the web by the end of the month!

I just think that there is nothing that complements a wardrobe more than a nice handbag. Whether it's small, medium, large, black, brown, or purple, handbags should make a statement. They're the perfect fashion accessory!

When it comes to essentials in purses, I think every woman should have that standout purse that makes people ask that one question we all love to hear: "Cute bag! Where did you get that?" My personal favorite is a huge red or orange purse with a neutral outfit. And it doesn't matter how much it costs. As long as it makes a statement and doesn't fall apart at the seems, it's fine with me and I'll wear it proudly.

I hand selected each of the handbags that will be posted on the site and think each purse fits a unique occasion. The collection is affordable and I know you all will love them! We're starting with a small collection but as I get more feedback from shoppers, the selection will grow and include a little bit of everything for everybody. Stay tuned...

Beginning My Journey

So...the journey begins. My mom and I are off to a great start with the online store. Just finished shopping for the upcoming spring collection. Super excited for what's to come!

I want to start off by talking about this journey and how far I've come since this time last year. Building a business is hard, and takes a lot of time and dedication. You must be committed. I will admit, I have been slacking on my duties in the past, but now, I am fully on board to creating an online accessory empire. You can't blame me though. Within the past year, I've graduated from college, moved across country, and am learning how to become an adult and entrepreneur.

Since my mom came to me with the idea back in January of 2010, this process has been overwhelming. Growing up, I knew I wanted to be a successful business woman. I just didn't know how I would get there and the amount of effort it would take. Now, this is my chance to break boundaries, step out of my comfort zone, and take on the world of changing ideas. I want to embark on this journey with you. Yes, I want you to shop at Accessorynv.com and enjoy all of the necklaces, rings, and scarves we have to offer; but I want to challenge everyone to step out of their comfort zone and do something now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Like the iconic first African American millionaire, Madam C. J. Walker, stated "Don't sit down and wait for the opportunities to come. Get up and make them!" I am making my opportunity.
