I want to start off by talking about this journey and how far I've come since this time last year. Building a business is hard, and takes a lot of time and dedication. You must be committed. I will admit, I have been slacking on my duties in the past, but now, I am fully on board to creating an online accessory empire. You can't blame me though. Within the past year, I've graduated from college, moved across country, and am learning how to become an adult and entrepreneur.
Since my mom came to me with the idea back in January of 2010, this process has been overwhelming. Growing up, I knew I wanted to be a successful business woman. I just didn't know how I would get there and the amount of effort it would take. Now, this is my chance to break boundaries, step out of my comfort zone, and take on the world of changing ideas. I want to embark on this journey with you. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Like the iconic first African American millionaire, Madam C. J. Walker, stated "Don't sit down and wait for the opportunities to come. Get up and make them!" I am making my opportunity.
